Rare Vintage Studio Fong Leng Knit Crop Top

Extremely rare collectible piece from Studio Fong Leng, the legendary Amsterdam label founded by Chinese-Dutch designer Fong-Leng in 1971. A prominent designer of Dutch 1970s fashion, Fong-Leng was known for extravagant, theatrical designs and a client list that included Kate Bush and Mathilde Willink. Her work is now held in major museum collections including the Amsterdam Museum, Centraal Museum Utrecht, and Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.

This piece is a beautifully simple, wearable example: a sleeveless cropped knit top in bold horizontal stripes of rust, orange, cream, red, and navy, finished with soft rolled-edge trim at the neckline and armholes.
